I Tramonti di Porto Flavia
"I Tramonti di Porto Flavia" is the summer preview of the International Chamber Music Festival that takes place between July and August and represents an important moment of music promotion combined with the enhancement of the Sulcis Iglesiente territory, its history and its rich cultural heritage.
Founded in 2017 thanks to a synergic project between the Municipality of Iglesias, the Anton Stadler Cultural Association and the Iglesiente Tourist Consortium, it is the first musical review ever to have been made at the Porto Flavia mining site.
The breathtaking scenery, facing the rock of Pan di Zucchero (the largest in Europe) and a crystalline sea, lends itself to an unparalleled theater for engaging high-level music shows, from classical to jazz to tango and kletzmer .
Before each show the guides of the "Consorzio Turistico per l'iglesiente" accompany the public for a guided tour dedicated to the mining site, at the end of the tour the show begins.
During some events, moments of promotion of local food and wine products are organized.
A true cultural experience capable of catalyzing the attention of the media and the public.
